The Grizzly Den Cabin on the Yellowstone River - Our Guest Experiences...
We wanted to thank you for a great week. It was heaven on earth. I am still blown away by the beauty. We feel like the herd of deer and antelope around the cabin and blocking the road were our own pets. Your website had us excited, but the photos cannot do it justice. Just breathtaking beauty!!! The town was great, we spent 3 days in Yellowstone and a lot of time hanging out together at the cabin. It was great just relaxing, talking and watching DVD movies. It was a week we will never forget and that's not easy to do with a 13-year-old who really didn't want to go and hang out with his parents for a week. We had just a wonderful, wonderful time and will be telling all our family and friends about the great place we stayed. Oh yes, we will be going back. Did I mention what a great time we had!!! Thanks again for a very memorable week!

We stayed nine days and was a beautiful place to stay. The owner was wonderful to work with. We would watch movies in the evening or just sit out back and watch the river. Would definitely recommend this place and would go back again! It was a nice added amenity to have a washer and dryer.

Recently stayed at The Grizzly Den Cabin with my daughter and a friend of ours. We loved staying here! The cabin faced the Yellowstone and had breathtaking mountains on all sides. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we could have wanted. The kitchen was furnished with everything one might want or need and we loved that it had a washer and dryer. It was very close to the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

We recently stayed at the Grizzly Den cabin on the Yellowstone River for our family vacation. This cabin exceeded my expectations for cleanliness and comfort!! The inside home decor was well done and artful. The views from the cabin were gorgeous, especially of the Yellowstone River and grazing pronghorns!!! The cabin is ideally located near the North entrance of Yellowstone Park. We would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!!

This is the most charming cabin. It is only a few feet from the Yellowstone River. The cabin is clean and spacious and filled with ammenities. We are so fortunate to have found this jewel. Thanks, for everything. We had the best time...

Highly recommend this cabin. Our family of 4 stayed for 8 nights this summer to see as much of Yellowstone as we could. It was originally overwhelming trying to find a place to stay and to plan our visit and activities. How fortunate that we came across this listing and the owner, Sherry. Sherry provided us with brochures to plan our visit, provided goodies and fresh farm eggs for us to start our visit and fortunately for us, rents out this cabin. The cabin is spacious, modern, comfortable, well stocked and in an ideal natural setting. Close to the North Entrance of the park and close the great little western town of Gardiner. Gardiner has restaurants, activities(rafting, horseback) groceries and all your needs, but not overly crowded. Yes, to get to other areas of the park takes time, but well worth having this cabin as a retreat at the end of the day. Sherry, thanks for treating us like family.

Absolutely perfect! Our family took a 2 week vacation to the Yellowstone area in in July '08 and out of all the places we stayed this one was by far everyone's favorite. Our sons are 9 and 12 and they really enjoyed their own room and running around out by the river. Every morning driving into the park we saw additional wildlife on the ride to the cabin (Pronghorn and Buffalo mostly) which made it a nice drive. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for the stay. We cooked out on the grill each night and ate on the patio every morning and evening. Great views! The other thing that makes this cabin so special is its owner! She was so helpful in planning our trip and made sure we were set. Great Stay don't hesitate staying here!

This was my family's first time to stay at the Grizzly Den cabin. Great experience. Our family vacation plan was to be close to Yellowstone Park and conduct day hikes. This location helped us accomplish that and more. After hiking days, the short drive from Roosevelt gates to sitting on the back patio of Grizzly Den was a huge plus. Watching the Yellowstone River flow by while enjoying the sunset all around...priceless. The owner was great to work with and I will book again and highly recommend to others.

Spent a wonderful week here while exploring the park. Given its beautiful setting I almost felt guilty leaving the cabin to explore Yellowstone. Nicely situated on the river, it has a nice patio with lots of chairs, table and a couch to enjoy a meal or cocktail while watching the river. Although there are other cabins right next to it on either side, noise was never an issue. The cabin had all the amenities of home and could comfortably sleep 8. Would wholeheartedly recommend the Grizzly Den cabin others and look forward to staying again.
